WOW!!! Where did August go!!? I spent the entire month looking for a job, applying to grants, exhibitions, and attending the EDGE program. I was so busy, I didn't even remember to keep you guys updated with some fun art stuff and other happenings.
Well... here's a quick recap.
I graduated from Artist Trust's EDGE program on August 27th.
About: Designed for visual artists, writers and filmmakers, the EDGE Professional Development Program is a comprehensive survey of professional arts practices offered through a hands-on, interactive curriculum that includes instruction by professionals in the field, specialized presentations, panel discussions and assignments. The EDGE Program provides artists with the relevant and necessary entrepreneurial skills to achieve their personal career goals and the opportunity to build community through peer support and exchange.
Hmmm.. other than that it was a pretty uneventful month. Visited the usual art galleries, did the first Thursday run, and met new people. So, stay tuned. I will do my best to catch you up on some fun art facts and other articles.
