3 Day Diet Plan


A lot of diet plans that promise massive amounts of weight loss in just a matter of days are currently getting quite popular especially to those who are desperate to lose weight. One of these includes the 3 day diet plan. The promise of instant weight loss attracts a lot of weight-conscious individuals to it. But, 3 day diet plan can backfire and may even, in the future, cause you to add more weight.

Surefire Tips on How These Diets Can Backfire And How You Can Avoid It

Three-day diet plans come in two main groups: Very low calorie diets and three-day detox diets. The reason why these two diets lead to quick weight loss is because of their low-calorie consumption. What do these types of diets do and what do we need to be aware of with regards to these?

Very Low Calorie Diets

The first group of diets, which is the “very-low calorie” diets, involves eating 3 meals each day that are high in protein and low in carbohydrates. These diets specifically instruct that you need to do that for a good 3 days, stop for 4-5 days, and then return for another 3 days. This cycle can be followed indefinitely. Most of the times, these kinds of diets asserts that the can aid you in keeping a high metabolism when in fact, they are just low-calorie diets on a masquerade. Most of the people who follow these diet plans usually overeat on the 4-5 day rest which in turn, make them gain all the weight back. This is one of the reasons why I really wouldn’t recommend using these diets.

3 Day Detox Diets

The three-day detox diet is, however, a completely different matter. Despite the fact that these diets are also low-calorie diets, they mostly involve in fruits consumption. These kinds of diet help cleanse the body of toxins and undigested waste, and so it provides more health benefits than just pure weight loss.

With these kinds of diets, it is possible to lose as much as 10 in three days. But of course, you must choose the right one. Just a word of advice though…

Do not do a detox diet for a long time. A week or two should be enough for it.

If you’re looking for a way to jump-start on your weight loss, then three day diets are good, but you must be sure to stick to a healthy lifestyle all year round. This will not only make you look and feel healthy, but you will be fit and trim at the same time.
