Cervical Cancer

Every year, more than 12,000 women are diagnosed with cervical cancer. Yet a Pap smear can detect pre-cancerous cells long before they have a chance to develop into cancer (it can take 10-15 years). When detected early enough, this cancer is 90% curable. Keeping the lines of communication open between you and your healthcare provider is a key way to guarantee you're getting the right care at the right time.
