DIY Kids: Foosball Game

Foosball, anyone? It's a super fun game, and while it won't improve your real life soccer skills, it is great for hand eye coordination. But who has space for a full-sized foosball table in their home? If you don't have the room but would like to pull off a foosball competition, here's a great option: make a mini game out of a shoebox.
Becky at U Create made this mini foosball game for her kids, and it's perfect for their size. Traditional tables take up lots of space and are difficult for young kids to maneuver, since they often can't see onto the "field" and have trouble reaching all the poles. This solution is easy and inexpensive to construct, and it allows everyone to play. Just watch out, because when they get old enough for a full-sized table, they will probably crush you.
