Food For Thought

After a very interesting conversation, I'm now curious to know what my friends think of Social Darwinism. Do you agree or disagree with the principles of the theory? Is the simple principle of Darwin's origin of species;... "adapt or perish" applicable to many situations other than the natural environment, including surviving in any given culture or society?
